Shot Outline

Isabel wakes up from a couch in the living room with a start from a baby crying. As she gets up to check on the baby, she sees a black trail of sludge leading down the hallway. She frowns, gets up off the couch and heads to the baby. Noticing that the trail goes to the same room. She starts to hear crunching noises with the baby’s cries coming from the same room. Isabel looks towards the darkened hallway, focusing on the door to the left. She slowly walks to the door, nervous and hesitant every step of the way. Isabel reaches out for the doorknob, pauses.

In that pause, the crying cuts off. She takes in a shaky breath and grabs the doorknob. opening the door. Everything is silent in the room besides the sound of something dripping. Seeing the bottom of the crib dripping from blood. Isabel goes towards the crib slowly, terrified. She looks into the crib. Looking horrified, Isabel screams. Then, she wakes up from the dream with a start. Robert is still sleeping soundly beside her with no baby crib in the room. She looks over to a plate on the nightstand and sees a little beetle eating some bread crumbs on the plate.
